Exploring Food Product Labeling for Ecosystem Services


Nature provides food, clean water, healthy soil and carbon capture. Today’s agricultural practices contribute to the deterioration of ecosystems. A label-based approach can valorize the production of ecosystem services within the food value chain. Three key stakeholders (producers, retailers and label organizations) are responsible for the provision of ecosystem services: what are their viewpoints on the subject? Q methodology was used to answer that question.
